I purchased this Kefersteinia Pellita from Ecuagenera Orchids at Orchids in the Park in San Francisco on July 25th. I had already purchased three orchids, and decided to take a chance, as I wanted to see the quality of the orchids from this vendor. He is based in Ecuador, but makes several visits to the USA each year. His plants are all in sphagnum moss, wrapped in paper. This one seemed healthy, and was one of two that he had in his large collection of orchids. Also, the price was right ($22). I will pot it into S/H tomorrow.
According to the Woodstream Orchids care sheet
Kefersteinia is a genus of small plants that produce flushes of single flowers from under attractive foliage. Kefersteinias enjoy moderate-moderately bright light, intermediate temperatures, good humidity and air movement.
This is a picture of the potential flowers from the Ecuagenera web site.
