I purchased this plant on my visit to SLO Orchids on September 13th. It had a tag with a number, 1793, and we evidently forgot to generate the correct tag for the plant. After emailing Rudy at SLO Orchids, the name turned out to be Dendrobium Unifloruum. It has a leaf structure unlike most of my Dendrobiums, as they are short and rigid and almost succulent-like. Once I looked closely at the flowers, I had to have this one. I will put it with the Dendrobiums on the east-facing wall.
Rudy, at SLO Orchids, was also intrigued by this plant. He had about a dozen of them, and this was clearly the best one.
