I purchased this Psychopsis Mendenhall ‘Hildos’ from a Taiwanese vendor at the Pacific Orchid Exposition in San Francisco on Saturday February 27th. It is a good plant, with seven growths and a single spike. It looks like one spike was cut off previously. The roots were dry and not very healthy, so it was planted into S/H right away.
This orchid should grow well for me in my Orchid Room. The temperature range is correct, and it flowers under similar light conditions. This is my second Psychopsis, and I will put it in an south facing window, so that the conditions are a little different, and I can compare the growth of both plants.
