Odontioda (Tiffany x Joe’s Drum ‘Amethyst’)

IMG_2750.JPGI acquired this Odontioda (Tiffany x Joe’s Drum ‘Amethyst’) from Bob Hamilton when visiting his greenhouses on May 14th.

It was planted in a 3″ pot, and was overflowing the pot with its new growth, so I decided to repot it into a 4″ pot.  I used bark, which resembled the media in which it was potted originally.  The plant has some spotting on the leaves, but otherwise looks very healthy.

It has a great purple color, with a very nice pattern on the leaves.

I have placed the plant in the solarium, just below the swamp cooler.
