Stanhopea Tigrina is in bloom

Tigrina071916.JPGStanhopea Tigrina is now in bloom, and stinking up the entire Solarium.  Well, “stinking up” is not quite correct, but the single flower is extremely fragrant, with a strong, but pleasant, smell.  As soon as this goes out of bloom, I will repot it into an 8″ basket.

Note, Dendrobium Frosty Dawn in the background.  I purchased it at the Sacramento Orchid show, and it is still blooming.
