I purchased this Bulbophyllum Makoyanum from eBay vendor aandp_orchids on August 10th and it arrived on August 16th. I already have one of these orchids sitting on the top western shelf of the orchid room, but wanted another to experiment with mounting. This is a large multi-bulbed plant with several leads, and was in bloom when it was delivered. It was quite dry, and is clearly a division from a very large plant.
I will plant this in sphagnum moss until it is growing again, then find a piece of wood to mount it. Initially, I will put it in the orchid room, but its mounted final resting place will be hanging in the solarium.
