Eria Spicata

Eris032717.JPGI purchased this Eria Spicata from eBay vendor autumnimports, and it arrived on March 16th.  It is found in the Himalayas to Thailand, and is a warm-growing epiphyte.  The flowers will be milky white and pendulant.  It is recommended that it be grown in shade in a fast-draining media.  The flowers will only last a few days.

It is a healthy, young plant, and I will place it on one of my top shelves, where it can grow under lights.
