Odontioda (Jim Mintsiveris x Shelley ‘S.D.’

Shelley051217.JPGI acquired this Odontioda (Jim Mintsiveris x Shelley ‘S.D.’ from Bob Hamilton on my visit to his greenhouse on May 7, 2015.  This is one of the seedlings that Bob gave me. It is growing in a bark/lava-rock mix, and looks like it could use a new mix.

Odontioda Jim Mintsiveris has one of the maroon-over-white flowers that I like so well, and Odontioda Shelley, seems to impart a pattern to the flowers.  I am very interested to see what the flowers will look like.
