Ada Glaumacea

Ada072317.jpgI purchased this Ada Glaumacea from the Santa Barbara Orchid Estate at their open house on Friday, July 14, 2017.  The Orchid Estate is so big, with so many plants, that one must “dig” to find the good things.  I was working through one of their greenhouses when I saw this plant sitting on a shelf with several other Adas.  It took a long reach of my arms to get it, but it appears to be a very healthy plant.  It currenly has two spikes, each with several flowers.

It is an intermediate grower from Central America, Ecuador, and Columbia, and is supposedly fragrant (although I have not experience this).  It should fit my intermediate/cool conditions well.
