I acquired this Vuylstekeara Nova (Oda Samares x Miltonia spectabilis var alba) from Bob Hamilton during my visit to his greenhouse in September of 2020.

The Miltonia in this cross gives the plant some warmth tolerance, and it should grow well in intermediate conditions. This is a first bloom seedling with only three flowers on a short spike. It is currently in a three-inch pot.
I had first acquired this orchid in August of 2017, placing it in a wooden basket and hanging in my solarium. But it did not take there. I believe that it was too bright (I have learned that the Miltonias do better in lesser light).
It is a beautiful flower.
