Odonoglossum Cristor ‘L.A.’ is in bloom

Quistrum101117.jpgI was given this Odm. Cristor ‘L.A.’  by Bob Hamilton on my visit to his greenhouse on August 30, 2017.  (I initially posted this plant as Odm. Quistrum, but Quistrum has some black spots on the petals and sepals, and this plant does not.)  I expected it to generate a new pseudobulb, but instead it formed a new spike with four buds, three of which are now in bloom.  It is situated on the top shelf of the west wall of the solarium.  It is a beautiful flower and really stands out.
