Odontoglossum (Rhynchostele) Bictoniense

Bictoniense110519.jpgI purchased this Rhynchostele Bictoniense from Andy’s Orchids at the Pacific Orchid Exposition in San Francisco in February of 2019.  I normally see these mounted, but this one was potted in a bark mix in a 4-inch square pot.  It has several bulbs, and appeared to be a mature plant.  It has formed three spikes this summer, each with 8-10 1-inch wide flowers that are really beautiful.

This should continue to grow well in my environment.
